Mental Health is real

Hey everyone, you’re probably wondering where have I been for the past few months and I’m here to let you know what’s been going on.

My family and I moved back in July and we are in a better place than before and I love our new neighborhood. After moving in, my depression had worsened. I gained 20 pounds; I haven’t had the energy, so I slept a lot. And been eating a lot as well. It’s been very difficult for me and still is, but I’m taking it one day at a time.

I took myself off my medications because they were not working for me anymore and I do not want to continue trying anymore because they were constantly making me sick. I was going through a lot of trial and error for almost two years, and enough was enough.

I started doing a lot of research on how to heal myself naturally, move on from my past. It’s been very hard, but this is a journey I know will also take a lot of trial and errors as well.

I came across this Netflix documentary called How To Change Your Mind by Michael Pollan. It was a great documentary to watch, and I had depression for so long, I decided I want to try shrooms. I talked to many people that have been micro-dosing for years and they loved it. Some say it helped me with addictions, depression, and how to view the world differently.

I tried shrooms a couple of weeks ago and it did not work for. I was told because of the prescriptions I was on and it could have affected it, and that’s why I did not work.

I feel spending more money to try again was a waste, so I wanted to learn how to grow my own. I came across a person who gave me all the resources to grow my own.

Even if it did not work the first time, I still want to try again by growing my own. I love to try new things and I’m not doing it because of a trend, but I’m doing this for myself, so I can heal and be able to stop feeling depressed all the time.

Once I get all of my tools together and start my journey, I will give you all an update.

But for now, I will continue to write a post about mental health and wellness because this is what I enjoy doing.

Take care.
